Life and Death

Two weeks ago we had to say farewell to our Shetland pony Henry. Together with his friend Billy we have been driven the lanes and sand paths with our little Bennington carriage and harnessed in the seldom-used Cape Curricle way.

A hard decision

The last years he was suffering a hoof disease and walking became increasingly difficult. After he had lost his companion Billy in May last year his pain was growing worse and we had to make a hard decision. Henry died on October 7th.

Yesterday we collect the last small piles of manure. Henry thank you for the lovely friendship you have been given to us. You will flower on in our garden.
